New York Dog Spa & Hotel, NYC’s premier dog grooming, daycare and boarding service, will host a “Mutt-i-gree® Mania” adoption event together with North Shore Animal League America, on Sunday, June 13, 2010, from 11am to 4pm at their West 25^th Street location (32 W. 25^th St, between 6^th Ave. and Broadway).

There will be dogs and cats for adoption. When you adopt a pet from a shelter, not only are you adding a loving companion to your family, but you’re also saving a life. As part of the festivities, New York Dog Spa is offering 10% off Bio Pet Vet DNA Identification Kits, with free entry into their Mutt-i-gree® “What Am I Really?” Facebook Contest. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to New York Dog Spa, which will be awarded to the dog with the most entertaining results, as determined by three celebrity judges: Celebrity Dog Groomer Jorge Bendersky; Andrea Arden, Star of Animal Planet's "Dogs 101" and "Underdog to Wonderdog," (who’ll also be attending the event from 2pm-4pm); and Q104.3 Classic Rock Radio Personality Maria Milito. All “Mutt-i-gree® Mania” attendees will receive a door prize and are eligible to enter a “guess your dog’s weight” contest, for a $2 minimum donation; the human who most accurately guesses their pet’s weight—down to the decimal point—will be awarded a $50 gift certificate to New York Dog Spa & Hotel.
