This workshop will improve your skills as your dog's teacher while enhancing your dog's ability to problem solve and actively and enthusiastically participate in the training game. Rather than luring our dogs into various positions to teach behaviors (bow, spin, retrieve, and jump, just to name a few) you can use free shaping to capture and shape the behaviors you want to teach by developing keen observational skills, well-timed communication with your dog, and rewarding your dog along the way. Dogs that are experienced free shapers learn with remarkable speed and enthusiasm. This workshop will explore a variety of tricks as well as practical behaviors while teaching you and your dog free shaping techniques. Held at Animal Haven (251 Centre Street) on Saturdays, June 12th thru June 26 11:00am - 12:00pm.
